Aufgenommen wurde es vor über 20 Jahren mit einer Voigtländer VSL-3E, einem adaptierten M42-Balgengerät und einem M42-Normalobjektiv. Die Belichtungszeit wurde geschätzt.

Lichtquelle war ein Diaprojektor REVUE Focus AS 33.
English: The picture shows a soon to hatch Small Tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae). The wing colors are already clearly visible through the pupal case. It was recorded over 20 years ago with a Voigtländer VSL-3, an adapted M42-M42 bellows and a standard lens. The exposure time was estimated. Light source was a slide projector REVUE Focus AS 33rd
